Our Team
EcoVerde Global Consulting is an internationally oriented consultancy with offices in the United States and the United Kingdom. Our founders bring complementary global perspectives, having begun their careers in the United States and Asia before jointly managing and delivering environmental and conservation projects throughout the US, the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Over the past decade, we have supported a wide range of clients including academic institutions, local and national governments, and leading international NGOs such as WWF, BirdLife International, Fauna & Flora International, and IUCN.
Our work has also been funded by major development partners including the World Bank, the European Commission, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), and others.In 2025, we combined our global experience and shared vision to create EcoVerde Global Consulting—a firm dedicated to delivering impactful, evidence-based solutions for conservation, sustainability, and international development.

Jessica Chavez, MSc.
Jessica Chavez is a global environmental compliance specialist with experience supporting federal, state, and local agencies on CEQA, NEPA, and FEMA regulatory requirements. She leads EcoVerde’s compliance review process, biodiversity coordination, and stakeholder engagement for both domestic and international projects.

Vincent Nijman, PhD
Vincent Nijman is a globally recognized conservation scientist with more than two decades of experience in wildlife trade research, biodiversity monitoring, and international conservation policy. He provides scientific oversight and strategic direction for EcoVerde’s global conservation projects.
